New York Comic Con is a yearly event featuring latest in comic book news as well as movies, games and over all geek culture! The Rink at Rockefeller Center

Dust your skates off this October as the Rink returns to Rockefeller Center! Get ready to enjoy the amazing fall air as you skate around the world’s most famous ice skating rink. You can shop your wallet slim on fifth avenue until you work up an appetite… then enjoy some truly tasty fining dining (The Sea Grill and Del Frisco’s Grille) at Rockefeller center, then journey to the Top of the Rock for amazing, unique views of our amazing metropolis and finally, to cap of a terrific evening… Get the blades on at the rink and have an amazing evening! Pickle Day

Pickles! Who can say no? Especially the fact that it is actually in our backyard (well Orchard St to be exact). Featuring over 20 plus “picklers”, this Lower East Side event is really a blast for the whole family! Games, prizes, live music, a pickle dance off and of course actually, delightful… pickles! October Events

This October at Madison Square Garden, there is going to be a ton of entertainment! Kicking off the festivities is rock n roll legends Guns’N’Roses. Join Axl and the gang for a three nights of heavy metal madness as the shake NYC up! Wednesday, October 11th, Sunday the 15th and Monday the 16th. Another fun rock group playing one night only is Queens Of The Stone Age. Their show is on Tuesday, October 24th. October is a great time to also welcome back hockey to NYC! The New York Rangers season opener is on October 5th vs the Colorado Avalanche at MSG… While the Islanders home opener is Saturday, October 7th vs the Buffalo Sabres at the Barclay Center. While the Barclay Center does have sports, it was made for concerts and they have some big names there this October! Ed Sheeran is performing October 1st; next up is Bruno Mars on the 4th and the Imagine Dragons at the end of the month on the 23rd. To round out small venues with some notable acts… Brooklyn Bowl has Dinosaur JR, Monday October 2nd and 3rd… Brooklyn Steel has Death From Above on Wednesday 25th, Cypress Hill on Monday the 30th and Primus on Tuesday, October 31st. Halloween Parade

This Halloween, celebrate Halloween the only way us New Yorkers seem to celebrate anything properly… In a parade! Starting at 6th Avenue, just north of Spring Street to 16th Street from 7:00pm – 10:30pm, Join hundreds of costumed people of all ages, dancers, performers and spectators as they march and enjoy this festive evening! The NYC Village Halloween Parade has always encouraged young and upcoming artists. This year, they are featuring one as grand marshal, Angelica Vox. She will be riding on a float designed by Alexei Kazantsev, our first ever done in a New Orleans style. You can also participate in the parade… head over to 6th Avenue and Canal Street at 6:30 and get ready to wave! Costumes are a must to join so get creative and have fun! Springsteen On Broadway

The legendary Bruce Springsteen will begin a 5-day-a-week residency on Tuesday, October 3rd at the Walter Kerr Theater! The Boss will be performing a stripped down solo show sans The E Street Band of all of his hits ranging from 1973’s “Greetings From Asbury Park” to 2014’s “High Hopes” along with retrospective storytelling of the arc of his 50 year career and reading passages from his 2016 autobiography “Born To Run” every Tuesday through Saturday until February 3rd.

New York City Wine & Food Festival

October 12th kicks off the 10 year anniversary of the New York City Wine & Food Festival! The event kicks off with the cast of Chopped at Northwestern Mutual Pier 92 Rooftop Smorgasburg followed by intimate dinners and wine tastings scattered across Manhattan with everyone from Alain Ducasse, Angie Mar, Patti Jackson, Rachael Ray to Action Bronson with locations and restaurants to be revealed to ticket holders. The festival will run from October 12th until the 15th with countless restaurants and bars participating in the festival! Visit www.nycwff.org for the event schedules.
